Despite the target audience being either academic, specific clients, or general consumers, the burden of rectifying and preventing such challenges typically lies with the business. These crushers are designed to be fitted under a sink, automatically crushing and disposing of all food waste through the drain. All it requires is an electrical power point below the sink and a switch above the sink.

Despite thorough testing and initial assurance, a unique challenge arose. A customer, specifically a housewife, informed us that her maid had inadvertently left the machine running for an extended period after the power was restored. This situation highlighted a potential flaw in our initial design, as the machine was not meant to run for more than 20-30 minutes without food waste.

To address this issue, we introduced a calling-bell type switch. Unlike a regular switch, where the machine can be left on and forgotten, the bell-type switch requires constant pressing to keep the machine running. This prevents accidental prolonged operation.
