Ashwin initially pursued a commerce degree, but his focus shifted from job hunting to agriculture. With just four acres of land, farming seemed challenging, yet he managed to earn annually an income equal to what an MBA graduate would.

Revolutionizing Farming

2017: Ashwin decided to revolutionize traditional farming by planting flowers on one acre and cultivating cotton and groundnuts on the remaining land. His initiative brought in over 10 lakh rupees worth of annual produce.

2018: Ventsuring into plasticulture farming, Ashwin planted flowers in two acres, yielding 7000 kilograms of flowers, and an annual income of 15 lakhs.

2019: He expanded his horizons by cultivating marigold flowers alongside flowers, harvesting 5.5 million rupees worth of marigold flowers and making a yearly profit of 22 lakhs.

2020: Moving into chili cultivation, Ashwin produced a striking 40 tonnes of chilies, a remarkable 18000 kilograms from his ten acres.

Overcoming Financial Obstacles

The journey wasn’t easy. Ashwin faced financial constraints and took loans to develop his land and install a one-kilometer-long water pipeline. However, he eventually succeeded and continues to inspire others.
