My Diverse World: Work, Leisure, and Community

From visiting professor to businessman, my world is as varied as it is fulfilling. Here, I share some insights into my daily activities, from my work environment to my leisure endeavors and community contributions.

A Day in the Life: Work and Leisure

Today, I began with some familiar tasks—assisting my father in the garden, helping my mother organize her clothes, and cleaning up the kitchen. Our family's hobby of fishing provided me with freshly caught mackerel for dinner. I spent time learning Japanese through Duolingo, indulging in some coding, and fixing bugs in my own image codec project. Modern day achievements: a 512x512 PNG compressed to just 776B with nearly invisible loss.

Work as a Visiting Professor

Currently, I work as a visiting professor, offering counseling and meditation practices for those who require it. I regularly attend and conduct classes, providing personalized courses to individuals. While the job itself is rewarding, it comes with its financial challenges. Sometimes, I have to apply bondo, the all-purpose putty, multiple times to make ends meet, and use sanding paper to smooth things out. Despite the personal hardships, I often encounter people who, despite their struggles, are striving to improve their lives.

Retirement and Community Involvement

I have been retired from a regular job since 1995 but continue to volunteer in the community when needed. This experience has shown me the diverse nature of human resilience and the impact of community support. I have seen firsthand how hard work and perseverance can lead to positive changes. My own journey has been one of balancing professional endeavors with a commitment to helping others.

A Look into My Business Operations

My work environment is as diverse as my daily activities. I own a factory near A.P., where I manufacture liquor ammonia and HDPE containers. The capacity of my factory is up to 1500 metric tonnes of ammonia per month. I utilize a large storage area to hold around 75000-100000 HDPE 210L ring containers, which are typically used for storage. Additionally, I have a logistics network supporting my operations, complete with a fleet of almost 80 trucks—all of which were purchased before 2015. My office area in Hyderabad is where the heart of my business operations is managed, including trading various chemicals.

Conclusion

My life is a tapestry of work, leisure, and community. Each element enriches the other, providing a well-rounded and fulfilling existence. Whether I'm coding, fishing, teaching, or running my business, I find joy and satisfaction in every aspect of my life, which is reflected in the way I engage with the world.
