My Journey and Experience with SSC CGL 2023 Tier-II After the Answer Keys Release
With the release of the answer keys, I couldn't help but reflect on my previous attempts and current experience. This is a detailed account of my journey, including my performance in the SSC CGL 2023 Tier-II, mock exams, and future plans.
This is my first attempt after graduation.
Pre-Exam Results
SSC CGL 2023 Pre-Exam: 149.5 Marks (Raw Score)
The pre-exam was a significant milestone in my journey. After graduating, I felt a renewed vigor to give it another shot. The pre-exam is crucial as it sets the foundation and prepares candidates for the main exam. My score of 149.5 in the pre-exam was a promising start.
SSC CGL 2023 Mains Exam: 323 Marks
The mains exam followed, where I scored 47 marks. This was a notable achievement as it reflected my preparedness and understanding of the subject matter. However, it also highlighted the competitive nature of the exam.
Second Attempt Without Graduation
SSC CGL 2022 Mains Exam: -248 Marks
I had previously given the SSC CGL 2022 exam without graduating, and unfortunately, I did not fare well, scoring -248 marks. This experience was both discouraging and a learning opportunity. It reinforced the importance of thorough preparation and the benefits of formal education.
Third Attempt and Performance
This attempt marked a significant turnaround. Here are some key points from my preparation and results:
Mock Exam Results
Pre-Exam: 160 Marks
For this attempt, I scored 160 in the pre-exam, which was a substantial improvement. This score gave me confidence and a clear idea of the areas I needed to focus on in the mains exam.
Mains Exam Expectations: At Least 2800 GP
I was aiming high, hoping to score at least 2800 general plus points (GP). This was a significant target considering the high competition. However, unexpected circumstances derailed my plans.
Unexpected Setback: Math Scores
Unfortunately, 35 in Mathematics turned out to be the Achilles' heel in my otherwise strong performance. I had placed significant effort into studying mathematics, but it proved difficult to overcome the unforeseen challenges. This setback reflected the need for a more balanced study approach, emphasizing areas that are crucial for the exam.
Check out these screenshots of my mock exam results. They provide a clear insight into my progress and areas for improvement:
