My Top Two Vacations in the Last Three Years: Reflections and Insights

Traveling to different parts of the world is an enriching experience that rejuvenates the soul and mind. In the last three years, I have had some incredible trips, but two stand out the most. One was in March of this year to Puerto Rico, and the other was almost exactly three years ago, when I visited the coast of Maine. March Vacation: Puerto Rico Adventures

I embarked on a seven-day adventure to Puerto Rico, a tropical paradise known for its stunning landscapes, rich culture, and delicious cuisine. Here are some of the highlights:

tSwimming: The Caribbean Sea provided perfect conditions for swimming. The crystal-clear water and warm temperatures made it a refreshing experience. tFishing: Attempting to catch some of the local fish was a thrilling activity. The local boats could take us far out into the sea, and we returned with excellent catches. tHiking: Exploring the lush greenery of the island through hiking trails was truly invigorating. The adventure through the twisty jungle mountain roads was exhilarating.

Taste of Authentic Cuisine

tCity Eats: In the city, I indulged in some of the most exquisite cuisine. From fancy restaurants to street vendors, the culinary offerings were outstanding. tLocal Treats: During the trip, I also had the pleasure of trying roadside fare in the countryside. The food was just as delicious and authentic.

Overcoming a Challenge

The trip wasn't without challenges, as an AirBnB scam caused stress. However, it was all part of the adventure, and we managed to overcome it with a positive attitude.

Three-Year-Old Vacation: Coastal Maine Memorable Moments

Almost exactly three years ago, I visited the coast of Maine during a particularly memorable trip. The memories still linger, as they were filled with delightful moments and experiences. My girlfriend’s grandparents had a cottage on the ocean, which provided a perfect base for our adventure.

Outdoor Activities and Local Fare

tFishing and Hiking: The highlight of our trip was engaging in outdoor activities like fishing and hiking. The natural beauty of the area was nothing short of breathtaking. tFresh Local Food: The food was one of the biggest draws. I remember purchasing live lobsters from the market for only 3.50 per pound and making an almost daily trip to the local candy shop for ice cream cones and a unique chocolate-covered candy called Needhams.

tBoat Tour: We went on a boat tour and got to see some seals up close. The experience was both educational and fun. tCoast and Inland Adventures: We also explored some really cool places along the coast and inland, making for a rich and varied experience.

Future Excursions
