A Real-Life Example

Despite his severe medical condition, which provided a justifiable reason for his behaviors, I chose not to confront him directly. Instead, I had a private meeting with the supervisor and diplomatically informed her that I could not work next to someone who grunted, moaned, and shouted frequently. Within two days, I was moved to a new desk on the opposite side of the office.

In retrospect, I am glad I made the move. The interim period would have been exceedingly stressful, but being relocated to a more comfortable setting improved my work experience. It's important to consider your own well-being and to take steps to mitigate disruptive behaviors in the workplace.
