Navigating the Path to Infosys Training: Success Rates and Failure
How many students in your batch are not able to make it through theInfosys training?
About the Job and Training Process
The journey to becoming an Infosys trainee can be challenging, but it is also a rewarding one. In my batch, there were around 800 individuals vying for the opportunity to join the prestigious training program. It is important to note that the competitivity of this process has significantly increased over the years, leading to a higher number of failures that often stem from individual choices or external factors.
Understanding the Success Rates
Out of the nearly 800 students in my batch, more than 90 did not make it to the final phase of the training. This high number of failures can be attributed to several factors. Some students themselves decided to fail, possibly due to a different life path or other job offers. However, a significant number of those who did not clear the training eventually found success elsewhere, such as at a major IT company like Tech Mahindra.
Common Reasons for Failure
The primary reasons students do not make it through the Infosys training process are varied. Many individuals choose to pursue opportunities in other organizations, leading them to intentionally fail in the hope of securing an alternative offer. A smaller percentage of students genuinely struggle with the course material or the pace of the training, leading to their dismissal. Regardless of the reasons, it is essential to recognize that failing is indeed a part of life and growth.
Support and Opportunities for Success
While it is true that many students often do not clear the initial round of the training, Infosys and similar organizations offer ample resources and support to help candidates succeed. The company is committed to nurturing talent and will provide multiple opportunities for students to improve and ultimately pass. The cutthroat nature of the process means that Infosys is more likely to stick with you through the ups and downs, as they are investing in your future success. This commitment is evident in the numerous support mechanisms available, including re-evaluation periods and coaching sessions.
Building Resilience and Crossing the Finish Line
Facing failure is never easy, but it is a necessary step in personal and professional development. If you have failed, do not give up. The individuals who ultimately succeed at Infosys or similar organizations often have faced and overcome failures at one point or another. These experiences build resilience and prepare you for the challenges of the real world. Keep trying, maintain hope, and stay focused on your goals.
This article provides insights into the challenges faced by students in the Infosys training process and highlights the numerous opportunities for success. By grasping the factors leading to failure and understanding the support offered by the organization, aspiring candidates can navigate the process more effectively and increase their chances of success.
