Exam Schedule and Admit Card Release
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released section-wise marks for the first stage computer-based test (CBT) of Group C D exams. The CBT is scheduled for August 9, 2018. The exam duration is 80 minutes for eligible PWD candidates and 60 minutes for others. A total of 75 questions will be asked.
Admit Card Details
The admit card for the exam will be available for download 4 days prior to the exam date. Candidates can check their exam city and date intimation and SC/ST travel pass from July 26, 2018, at 11:30 PM. To obtain the admit card:

Group C
Exam Duration and Structure
The exam for Group C is a one-hour online test, with a total of 75 multiple-choice questions. One-third marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The exam will cover the following sections:
Mathematics: 20 questions General Intelligence and Reasoning: 25 questions General Science: 20 questions General Awareness and Current Affairs: 10 questionsSyllabus Highlights

Mathematics: Number system, BODMAS, decimals, fractions, LCM, HCF, ratio and proportion, percentages, mensuration, time and work, time and distance, simple and compound interest, profit and loss, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, elementary statistics, square roots, age calculations, calendar and clock, pipes and cistern, etc. General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analogies, alphabetical and number series, coding and decoding, mathematical operations, relationships, syllogism, jumbling, Venn diagram, data interpretation and sufficiency, conclusions and decision making, similarities and differences, analytical reasoning, classification, directions, statement arguments and assumptions, etc. General Science: Focus on physics, chemistry, and life sciences of class 10. The exam for Group D is also a one-hour CBT with a total of 75 multiple-choice questions and a mark deduction policy while the syllabus and exam pattern are expected to be similar:

Selection Criteria: For both Group C and D, the first stage involves a CBT, followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for Group C applicants and a PET for Group D applicants. Question papers will be provided in 15 different languages to ensure broader access. Practice Mock Tests: Participate in mock tests as the online registration for mock tests will open on July 26.
