Comparing oneself to living under a bridge, lying about sales achievements in job interviews is not advisable. While it may seem that the only way to get a job is to bend the truth, the risks far outweigh the benefits. Companies can easily fire employees who are caught lying during the hiring process.
It is easier for the employer to dismiss you than for you to prove your worth. If you are discovered lying during the hiring process, you can be blocked from future opportunities.
