My Life's Journey and Future Plans: Embracing Simplicity and Fulfillment

Living life to its fullest is my mantra, even if it takes a toll on me. As I reflect on my 15 years of remission from leukemia and the many journeys ahead, I strive to approach each day with a sense of peace and simplicity.

Simple Living, Big Goals

I am a firm believer in the power of simplicity. Whether it’s in the choices I make regarding my meals or the profound aspects of my life plans, I maintain a minimalist approach. My current pursuits include finishing a book and completing my Masters in English literature, two milestones that bring me immense joy and purpose.

Completion of my Masters is a key step towards my ultimate goal of retiring early and traveling extensively. Specifically, I yearn to explore the mountains of my home country Nepal and the states of India, where I hold a deep affection.

Health, Travel, and Peaceful Living

Health, in its myriad forms, plays a central role in my life. I am dedicated to leading a healthy and calm life, one that prioritizes peace and excludes anything that might interfere with it. Health challenges have gifted me with a unique perspective, and I choose to channel this experience into something truly meaningful.

To achieve my dream of early retirement and travel, I am dividing my efforts. Studying for my Masters will help me earn a decent income to fund my travels. It's not about seeing the whole world, but thoroughly exploring the places that resonate with me most, like my beloved India.

Personal Milestones and Future Goals

As I look ahead, my list of personal milestones and future goals is a testament to my resilient spirit. Here are a few highlights:

Achieve a sub-10 minute beer mile: Running a beer mile is not just a physical feat; it's a celebration of breaking conventions and having a lighthearted moment in the face of personal challenges. Along with running, I expect to experience some nausea, but this is part of the fun. Write and publish a book: As a cliche, writing a book is also a deeply personal choice. Through my experiences, I aim to share valuable insights with others, helping those in similar situations find solace and understanding during their journeys. Grow my weekly newsletter to 1,000 subscribers: My newsletter, 'New World Porter,' has already gained a following. I am immensely grateful and hope to continue engaging and entertaining my readers. Marry Christina Aguilera: Although it seems like a whimsical dream, expressing my admiration for the artist and hoping for a unique connection is a way to channel my emotions and pursue a small slice of the extraordinary. Make more intentional choices: Finally, I've decided to prioritize my own desires and opinions over those of others. This mental shift will help me lead a more authentic life, living in alignment with my values and aspirations.

Reflecting on where I've been and where I am headed, I am encouraged by the idea that great things can still happen when one does not know what lies ahead. No matter your plans, I encourage you to embrace them with all your heart and resilience.

So, whether your vision is near or seems impossible, stay committed to your course. Things have a way of working out in the end, and you might even find unexpected joy along the way!

If Cristina Aguilera decides to marry me after watching me vomit during a beer mile, you're all invited to the wedding!
